Welcome to Brain Brawl (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website, games, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission.

2) Accounts & Security

• You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• We may offer guest/anonymous play; some features require sign-in.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our policies.

3) Acceptable Use

• Don’t cheat, exploit bugs, harass others, or disrupt the Service.
• Don’t attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems.
• Don’t submit content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.

4) Virtual Items & In-Game Currency

Cosmetics, boosts, or in-game currency (e.g., “Brawl Bucks”) are licensed, not sold, and have no cash value. We may modify, limit, or discontinue virtual items at any time. Purchases may be subject to platform store terms and regional tax rules.

5) Intellectual Property

The Service, including artwork, characters, logos, and code, is protected by IP laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our assets without prior written permission.

6) Feedback

If you send suggestions or ideas, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.

7) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. If updates are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (e.g., by posting on this page). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, unless otherwise required by your local consumer laws.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Brain Brawl collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Service.

• Account Data: Display name, email (if you sign in), avatar, and preferences.
• Gameplay Data: Rounds played, scores, streaks, item ownership, session timestamps.
• Device & Usage: Browser type, IP (for security), crash logs, and basic analytics.
• Optional Content: Feedback, support messages, or user-generated content you submit.

2) How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
• To personalize gameplay, progression, and cosmetic inventories.
• To prevent fraud, secure accounts, and enforce our Terms.
• To communicate about updates, features, and support responses.

As per the Meta Facebook App policy, you can request the deletion of your data. To do so, please email us at support@brainbrawl.app from the email address you used to register with the subject line 'Data Deletion Request'. We will then delete all of your data from our servers. Please note that we may retain some anonymous data for statistical purposes. You can also visit our Data Deletion page to request data deletion.

8) Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the age required by local law). If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9) International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We implement appropriate safeguards as required by law.

10) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
